Immigration
Introduction
A. "The Senate voted to make English the national language of the United States. The vote drew protests from several immigrant groups and one governor ofCalifornia."
B. “Remember, remember always, that all of us, and you and I especially, are descended from immigrations and revolutionists.” Franklin D. Roosevelt.
C. At the end of my speech, the audiencewill be able to understand why and how people immigrate to the US.
D. Every year millions of people from different countries and continents immigrate to the US. All of them have their own reasons forit and ways to accomplish it.
E. Often people ask me why I came here. So let’s talk about reasons that make people move to the US.
Body
I. There are several kinds of reasons for this:
A.economical;
B. Political (“For all the noise and anger that too often surrounds the immigration debate, America has nothing to fear from today’s immigrants. Like the waves of immigrants that came before themand the Hispanic Americans whose families have been here for generations, the recent arrival of Latino immigrants will only enrich our country”). Now, when we know why people immigrate, let’s look at the ways that they do to reach this aim.

3. Adopting a Child
4. Employment visas.
5. Special Immigrants category
6. Diversity Visa Program
B. Nonimmigrantvisa:
1. Tourist visa
2. Business visa
3. Au Pair (“Work and Travel”)
4. “Work and study” visa
